Job summary

Ford Motor is seeking an experienced software professional to join our development teams, delivering high-quality web UIs and cloud-based services. You will work across platforms, partnering with product, UI/UX, and engineering teams to ship reliable software.

Responsibilities include building reusable UI components, advancing test automation, and contributing to performance improvements across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in OO languages like Java, JS/TS, Kotlin, Python, or C#.
• 3+ years of front-end development experience.
• 1+ years developing on cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Proven UI experience with React.js, Angular, JS, and/or TS.
• Proficiency debugging with modern tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Terraform).
• Familiarity with end-to-end test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Engineer high-quality, reusable code to develop dynamic user interfaces across multiple platforms.
• Enhance testing frameworks, improve test automation, and foster software craftsmanship.
• Surprise and delight customers and partner engineers with elegant, performant solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and reliability of our applications.
• Collaborate with multi-skilled teams on commercial and fleet software solutions.
• Practice Test-First and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Build and integrate cloud-native services using cutting-edge technologies.
