Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Senior Load Planner to coordinate transportation logistics for inbound and outbound freight across multiple divisions. You will manage carrier communications, optimize loads, and update SAP EWM and OTM systems, ensuring on-time and cost-effective shipping execution.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in transportation/logistics and strong Excel and MS Office proficiency, with cross-functional collaboration to support a seamless supply chain process.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in transportation/logistics or supply chain planning
• Proficient in SAP (EWM), OTM, OMS and related systems
• Strong understanding of freight modes: LTL, TL, small parcel
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams proficiency

Responsibilities

• Coordinate truckload shipping with Line Haul Carriers and FedEx (Line Haul, Freight, Small Package)
• Communicate with carriers to secure transportation and update TMS (OTM), shipping manifests, Bills of Lading, calendars
• Conduct inbound and outbound load planning for multiple business units
• Maintain Excel-based calendars and dock schedules
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to support workflow
• Monitor and report trends to proactively avoid shipment delays
• Provide timely information to internal and external stakeholders
• Review POs and Stock Transfer Orders to create SAP deliveries
