Job summary

UPS in San Diego, CA is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers and ensure compliance with regulations. You will lead a team, hire/coach, set priorities, and coordinate with carriers and internal groups to optimize performance.

Required: Bachelor's degree (or UPS experience) or equivalent, and US work authorization; fluency in English and Spanish preferred; travel may be needed; shift Mon–Fri 12:00–9:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree or be a UPS employee with three years of UPS experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Freight forwarding experience – Preferred.
• Warehouse experience – Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers.
• Collaborate with vendors, customers, carriers, and internal teams to move shipments efficiently.
• Lead, hire, onboard, transfer, discipline, and reward team members while aligning processes.
