Job summary

UPS in San Diego is seeking a Senior Logistics Supervisor to support inbound and outbound cargo movements for freight forwarding customers. You will oversee teams, collaborate with vendors and carriers, and drive process alignment to improve efficiency.

The role includes hiring decisions, shift coordination, and adherence to regulations. This is a full-time on-site position with a Monday–Friday evening shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Freight forwarding experience – Preferred.
• This position may require traveling depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate the performance of one or multiple teams.
• Set priorities and coordinate work across the organization to optimize efficiency.
• Make workforce decisions including hiring, onboarding, transferring, laying off, disciplining, and rewarding staff.
