Job summary

Schneider is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative in Portland, ME to process and monitor customer orders, manage relationships, coordinate freight solicitation, and negotiate market rates. On-site, full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include monitoring freight, proposing adjustments as volumes shift, using reports and dashboards to identify trends, and collaborating with leaders, teams, and customers to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer freight and proactively identify potential issues to improve efficiency.
• Recommend adjustments as freight volumes fluctuate.
• Use reports, dashboards, and technology to analyze service issues and trends to determine solutions.
• Collaborate with leaders, teams, and customers.
