Senior Freight Broker

As a Senior Freight Broker, you are responsible for identifying freight transport opportunities and building client relationships. This position promotes and delivers our client’s services in accordance with established policies and procedures while pursuing company goals and objectives.

Job Type:

Full-time/Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Use independent judgment and discretion to determine freight transport opportunities, lanes to quote, loads to accept, and pricing strategies.
• Establish, maintain, and improve shipper relationships.
• Make calls to shippers daily.
• Coordinate with Operations and other departments to track loads.
• Quote shippers and provide up-to-date information.
• Maintain relationships with shippers and collaborate with team members.
• Stay informed about company activities, industry trends, and regulations.
• Travel as needed to client, customer, carrier, and prospect sites.
• Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 2-5 years of freight broker or logistics sales experience.
• Ability to analyze industry documents and reports.
• Strong communication skills for inquiries and complaints.
• Proficiency in basic math and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software.

This position offers a competitive base salary, with a range from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
