About the Role:

We are looking for experienced and results-driven Sr. Freight Brokers to join our growing team. As a Sr. Freight Broker at MAV Inc., we expect you to bring your knowledge to the team. Along with all of the standard cradle-to-the-grave brokerage responsibilities, it is important to us that the knowledge of our elite sales people is shared amongst each other. Becoming a broker at MAV Inc. includes operations support to the degree that you find necessary. We never force any brokers with a book of business into a relationship with operations that they deem uncomfortable. Tremendous help is possible as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and carriers to ensure the smooth transportation of goods.
  • Mediate difficult situations that arise from the normal rigors of shipping.
  • Work closely with shippers and carriers to schedule, dispatch, and track loads from origin to destination.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining service quality.
  • Quickly address and resolve any issues or delays during transit to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize technology to manage freight data, monitor shipments, and keep all relevant parties updated.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and expand our client base by generating new leads and building partnerships with potential customers.
  • Become part of the team and be the face of MAV Inc.
