Job summary

The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA is seeking a seasoned Fraud Strategy & Real-Time Decisioning leader to drive the global ESF fraud program within Global Risk and Security. You will define prevention strategy across real-time payment channels and own the decisioning logic and detection outcomes.

Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations, you will build and enhance fraud rules engines, tune performance, and translate data insights into actionable risk strategies.

Qualifications

• Five years+ of fraud-related work experience.
• Experience with real-time fraud decisioning environments and rules.
• Strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations.
• Expertise in fraud risk areas including account takeover and transaction fraud.

Responsibilities

• Set fraud strategy and coverage across real-time payment channels.
• Own real-time decisioning, rules, and detection logic.
• Lead platform and capability build with engineering partners.
• Optimize performance and reduce false positives while minimizing client friction.
• Leverage data and models to improve detection effectiveness.
• Partner cross-functionally to embed fraud controls into journeys and launches.
• Ensure governance and regulatory compliance in all activities.
