Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Strategic Reporting Analyst to join the Consumer Fraud Risk Analytics & Intelligence team. You will develop analytical insights into risk strategies, build intelligent reporting solutions, and ensure compliance and timely information delivery to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, business analysis, strategy & analytics, or a related role.
• Strong SQL & SAS skills and experience working with large datasets; ability to validate results and troubleshoot data issues.
• Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to extract business insights from complex data structures.
• Experience building dashboards and recurring reporting and communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project management skills—able to manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibly adapt to change with excellent analytical storytelling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to turn ambiguous questions into structured problem statements and requirements.
• High attention to detail and comfort operating in a controlled environment with data governance and privacy expectations.

Responsibilities

• Data Interpretation: Analyze large volumes of complex data to formulate problem statements and draw concise conclusions about underlying risk dynamics, trends, and opportunities.
• Risk Indicators and Metrics: Identify and develop key risk indicators and metrics, enhance existing reporting mechanisms, and explore new analytical areas to improve fraud detection.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners to understand and address key business challenges.
• Communication and Presentation: Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• Independent Problem Solving: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, taking ownership of problem-solving from start to finish.
• Strategy and Product Development: Collaborate with Product Risk managers and other stakeholders to support the development and monitoring of new strategies and products.
