Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an experienced Auditor to support fraud investigations, review complex financial transactions, and draft technical audit guidelines. The role requires cross-functional communication and proficiency with multiple accounting systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in finance/accounting/fraud examination, strong data analysis skills, and experience with medical records or billing procedures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for background investigation.
• Experience with medical records review and knowledge of medical billing procedures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and audit a variety of accounting systems.
• Identify witnesses and relevant financial documents through quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Prepare concise reports with charts and schedules for investigations.
• Assist conferences and interviews with financial institutions and witnesses.
• Develop and issue draft technical audit guidelines for financial audits and investigations.
