Job summary

Citi in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a senior Fraud Analytics & Modeling professional to design and deploy fraud prevention rules, monitor performance, and optimize the Citi Retail Services portfolio. You will leverage data to identify fraud trends and develop machine learning–driven score-centric strategies to detect and mitigate fraud across the lifecycle.

This role collaborates with Fraud Retail Bank, Branded Cards, Policy, Operations, Technology and senior leaders, while mentoring junior team

Qualifications

• 8+ years in fraud or risk management.
• Experience with Big Data and analytics tools (SAS, SQL, Python, Impala, Hive).
• Proficiency in ML techniques (logistic regression, gradient boosting, random forests).
• Data visualization with Tableau.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in statistics/math/economics or related; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages fraud rules, scores, detection strategies and risk appetite.
• Document data requirements and perform EDA.
• Conduct exploratory and confirmatory analyses to identify patterns.
• Translate data into customer insights to drive targeting.
• Lead technical rule writing to deliver business value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to balance risk and return.
