Job summary

Leola Construction is seeking a Superintendent/Framing Foreman to lead framing crews on residential and commercial projects. You will supervise crews, read blueprints, schedule trades, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in framing with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of building codes, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors. A valid driver’s license and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of framing experience with lead/supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of framing techniques and building codes.
• Ability to read/build blueprints and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade-school certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise framing crews and subcontractors to meet plans and schedule.
• Read blueprints and structural drawings to guide layout and rough carpentry.
• Oversee daily site operations, material staging, crew scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Conduct quality control walkthroughs to ensure compliance with codes and specs.
• Enforce jobsite safety policies; lead toolbox talks and address hazards.
• Manage framing schedule and report progress to Project Manager.
• Coordinate material orders and deliveries with office to keep crews supplied.
• Track daily labor hours and job progress; complete daily logs.
• Identify and resolve field issues such as plan discrepancies and site constraints.
• Support onboarding and training of framing crew members.
• Maintain positive communication with inspectors, clients, subcontractors.
• Ensure tools and equipment are secured and maintained.
