Job summary

RPM Construction is seeking a Construction Framing Estimator with experience in high-end residential and multifamily buildings. Must have 5+ years as an estimator and strong carpentry knowledge to accurately identify framing components and materials.

You will manage bid schedules, review drawings, prepare estimates and submittals, and participate in site visits. Proficiency in PlanSwift and advanced math/Excel skills are required, with meticulous attention to detail and organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Estimator.
• Experience in high-end residential and multifamily buildings.
• Skilled in general trades (carpentry).
• Strong math skills and Excel proficiency.
• Advanced knowledge of PlanSwift.

Responsibilities

• Manage bid schedules.
• Process bid invites.
• Review drawings, specifications and bid documents.
• Prepare summary for review.
• Material take-off for estimate.
• Prepare submittals.
• Identify framing components, hardware, hangers, hold downs, etc.
• Prepare proposals and SOVs.
• Site visits to proposed sites and contractors.
