Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Frame Technician for a respected collision repair center in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will perform structural analysis, operate frame straightening equipment, and restore chassis to OEM specs using Car-O-Liner or Celette systems.

The role requires minimum 6 years in structural repair, reading blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and participate in repair estimates.

Formación

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Automotive Frame Technician or Structural Repair Specialist.
• Proficient with frame straightening machines, measuring systems, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read repair manuals and structural diagrams.
• Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analysis and measurements on collision-damaged vehicles using advanced alignment systems.
• Operate frame straightening and alignment equipment to restore vehicle chassis to OEM specifications.
• Repair and replace structural components, including frame rails, crossmembers, and body panels.
• Interpret vehicle blueprints and repair diagrams accurately.
• Ensure all structural repairs are completed safely and meet manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians and estimators to ensure efficient repair processes.
• Maintain and calibrate all frame repair equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Mentor junior technicians in frame repair techniques.
• Provide technical input for repair estimates where necessary.
