Job summary

Plan B Autobody is seeking an Auto Body Technician to perform high-quality collision repairs in a team environment. You will follow OEM repair procedures, use frame equipment and measuring systems, and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of collision repair experience and may hold I-CAR Platinum or Gold Class certifications. A valid driver’s license and a detail-oriented mindset are essential for delivering safe, accurate repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of collision repair experience preferred.
• I-CAR certifications preferred; Platinum or Gold Class experience is a plus.
• Proficient in structural and non-structural repair techniques.
• Experience using frame machines and computerized measuring systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality structural and non-structural repairs in accordance with OEM repair procedures.
• Repair, replace, and straighten damaged vehicle components using proper tools and techniques.
• Operate frame equipment, measuring systems, and specialized repair tools accurately.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as required during the repair process.
• Document repair procedures and communicate any additional damage or repair needs.
• Work closely with estimators, parts personnel, and production staff to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support quality control processes to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.
