Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and coordinate with the team to maintain on-time status. You will use a frame machine and apply repair processes per manufacturer guidelines.

The role requires I-CAR welding certification, ability to interpret measuring data, and the capacity to supervise apprentices when needed. The company offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and efficiently plan repair process.
• Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
• Perform quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
• Participate in all required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
• Direct the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed.
