Job summary

Soap Creek Resources in Austin, TX seeks a Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF & DSP to own strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of RF, DSP, and FPGA-based embedded solutions. You will translate technical tradeoffs into compelling product concepts and drive products from concept to launch with input from engineering and customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded tech markets.
• Strong understanding of RF-to-digital systems and DPS.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Excellent communication with engineering, sales, customers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs and tech trends.
• Translate system requirements into product strategies and requirements.
• Develop business cases and present recommendations to executives.
• Lead NPI from initial requirements to launch.
• Evaluate competitors and relevant form factors.
• Manage product-line revenue, costs and profitability.
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements and priorities.
• Engage with sales and customers to identify opportunities.
• Support customer engagements with technical input.
• Create technical collateral and training materials.
• Monitor portfolio performance and propose lifecycle changes.
