Job summary

CTS Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking an FPGA On-Target Test Engineer to support verification, validation, and integration of FPGA/SoC hardware in a lab environment.

You will collaborate with FPGA design, verification, and systems teams to execute tests on target hardware and document results. The role covers requirements analysis, test planning, hardware bring-up, data collection, and troubleshooting across the FPGA development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related field.
• Experience with FPGA/SOC technologies in hardware lab environments.
• Experience developing and executing verification/validation tests.
• Ability to interpret hardware and system requirements into test procedures.
• Experience documenting test plans and results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification/validation procedures for FPGA/SoC hardware.
• Perform on-target testing of FPGA designs using hardware labs.
• Translate requirements into test objectives, cases, and procedures.
• Configure test setups and lab equipment for on-target testing.
• Develop scripts/tools to automate test execution and data collection.
• Support regression testing and test readiness reviews.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers at Level 4.
