Firefly Aerospace, Inc. is hiring an FPGA Development Lead to shape high‑reliability FPGA solutions for launch vehicles, spacecraft, and ground systems. You will be a senior technical leader, hands‑on contributor, and mentor for a fast‑paced aerospace team based in Texas.

You will guide RTL design, verification, timing closure, and hardware integration while partnering with embedded software, hardware, and systems engineering to ensure robust avionics across missions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of FPGA development experience.
• Strong proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design.
• Experience with high‑reliability aerospace hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or technically lead other engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is a plus.

• Provide technical direction and mentorship to FPGA engineers.
• Drive RTL implementation, verification strategies, timing closure, and lab bring‑up.
• Own significant portions of FPGA designs from concept through implementation and integration.
• Help establish FPGA development processes for design, verification, timing analysis, and integration.
