Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to define and deliver new imaging product lines. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, prototype, and mature firmware for FPGA-based systems destined for ground and flight applications.

You will lead FPGA architecture, develop RTL designs in VHDL/Verilog, and validate through rigorous test benches and lab equipment, focusing on performance, power efficiency, and seamless HW/SW integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years HDL firmware for FPGA devices.
• Expert in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus.
• Strong hardware/software debugging skills.
• Proficient with Git for collaborative development.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture, standards, development and review processes.
• Design, architect, simulate, and integrate VHDL/Verilog into FPGAs/SoCs for performance and efficiency.
• Hardware/software integration with processor bring-up and board support packages.
• Develop robust test benches in VHDL/Verilog and use lab tools for validation.
• Optimize algorithms for hardware acceleration and AXI/AXI-Stream interfaces.
