Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer for the Imaging team. You will define, build prototypes, and mature designs into products with a cross-functional team.

You’ll lead FPGA architecture, model, simulate, and integrate VHDL/Verilog for high-performance hardware. Responsibilities include testing with lab equipment, optimizing for hardware acceleration, and ensuring seamless hardware/software integration across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years HDL firmware experience for FPGA devices.
• Proficient in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience with Vivado or Quartus FPGA tools.
• Strong debugging with lab equipment and test benches.
• Git or similar version control for collaborative work.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture, standards, development and reviews.
• Design, simulate, and integrate HDL into FPGAs/SoCs.
• Collaborate across hardware/software teams for integration.
• Develop robust test benches and perform validation.
• Optimize algorithms for hardware acceleration and AXI buses.
