Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. in Westminster, CO is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to design, verify, and deploy FPGA systems for space and aerospace applications. You will work on HDL-based FPGA circuits, high-speed interfaces, and clock-domain management across the development lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in FPGA design (Verilog/VHDL), hands-on lab experience, and strong communication skills. A BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required; experience with Xilinx Vivado, ModelSim,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FPGA design, analysis, and implementation at HDL level.
• Experience with Verilog/VHDL and HDL toolchains.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, verify, test, and deploy FPGA circuits and systems across all development phases.
• Develop high-speed interfaces, data streams, and clock-domain management.
• Present engineering design reviews to customers and executives; participate in proposal writing.
