Job summary

Northwood is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to architect the digital backbone of our phased array ground stations. You will push data transport and signal processing to handle massive parallel streams in real time, leading the charge on complex FPGA solutions used in global satellite missions.

The role requires strong Verilog/SystemVerilog, Python automation, and hands-on FPGA DSP/Networking experience; onsite in Torrance, CA, with high-performance expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex digital hardware designs.

Responsibilities

• Design core space-communication systems: architect FPGA networking and DSP blocks for high-rate data.
• Lead projects from concept to production across prototyping to deployment.
• Develop system architecture and optimize high-speed links for global customers.
• Debug deployed systems by reviewing field data and updating designs for reliability.
