Job summary

CesiumAstro in the United States seeks a Senior FPGA Engineer to drive FPGA circuits across all development phases for space and aerospace systems. You will design, verify, test, and deploy HDL-based solutions for high-speed interfaces, data streams, and clock domains.

The ideal candidate holds a BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, at least five years of FPGA experience, and strong Verilog/VHDL expertise using Vivado and Modelsim.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 5 years of FPGA design/HDL experience
• Expertise in FPGA design and verification (Verilog/VHDL, HDL coder, Vivado, Modelsim)
• Hands-on with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, vector signal analyzers
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Own FPGA circuits through all development phases
• Develop and verify HDL designs for high-speed interfaces and data streams
• Present design reviews to customers and executive team
• Participate in proposal-writing efforts
