Job summary

Anduril Industries in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to lead FPGA development for airborne radar products. You will translate algorithms into FPGA implementations and drive design processes with a hands-on, self-directed leadership style.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across sites, mentoring peers and maturing prototypes into production-ready hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics/computer engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of professional FPGA design and development experience.
• Strong SystemVerilog/VHDL RTL design expertise.
• Experience with Altera FPGA devices and development tools (Vivado, Quartus).
• Proven DSP implementation on FPGAs and leadership to drive projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture, design, and verification for airborne radar systems from concept through production.
• Translate signal processing algorithms into high-performance FPGA implementations on Altera SOC/FPGA platforms.
• Establish robust FPGA design processes, coding standards, and verification methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-site teams to ensure design consistency and knowledge transfer.
• Design DSP chains including data acquisition, filtering, and real-time processing.
• Perform timing analysis, resource optimization, and debugging of complex FPGA designs.
• Develop and maintain design documentation and verification plans.
• Mentor engineers and scale FPGA capabilities across the team.
