Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to design a new product line and work with an interdisciplinary team to define, build prototypes, and mature them into flight-ready hardware.

The role focuses on FPGA architecture, RTL design, and hardware/software integration, with rigorous validation using lab equipment and a focus on performance and power efficiency for defense applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years HDL firmware experience for FPGA devices.
• Proficient in VHDL and Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience with FPGA design tools and debugging in lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture, standards, development and review processes.
• Design, architect, simulate, and integrate VHDL into FPGAs/SoCs.
• Hardware/Software integration: collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure firmware integration.
• Develop robust test benches in VHDL/Verilog and use lab instruments for validation.
• Optimize algorithms for hardware acceleration with AXI/AXI-Stream and on-chip buses.
