Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years related experience, or graduate degree with 10+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 16+ years related experience.
• Strong root-cause analysis and technical judgment across multiple functions.
• Experience with VHDL/Verilog and complex modem or DSP circuits.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces: Ethernet, PCIe, SDRAM, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, evaluation, integration, and production support for FPGA and digital-hardware systems.
• Set vision, staffing plans, and execution priorities for the FPGA and digital-hardware team.
• Coordinate personnel, lab resources, tools, and support for programs, IRAD, development and production.
• Direct technical, schedule, and cost performance; review key decisions, deliverables, risks, and actions.
• Guide the full design lifecycle from proposals to production.
• Lead analysis, test, debug, and evaluation activities to validate designs.
• Set design approaches and priorities based on requirements, schedule, cost, reliability.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and retain engineers and technical leaders.
• Build a culture of innovation and accountability across teams.
• Partner with systems, software, RF, mechanical, manufacturing, and program management.
• Security clearance: Active or obtainable.
