Reliable Robotics seeks a Sr. FPGA Certification Engineer to own the certification lifecycle for the FPGA at the heart of our phased array radar. You will author DO-254 plans, standards, and compliant peer-review processes to ensure safe, verifiable hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of full-cycle aviation electronics hardware development experience.
• Experience with safety-critical FPGA certification in a DO-254 level A/B process.
• Professional experience designing/verifying FPGA digital logic using industry-standard design, simulation, and synthesis tools.

Responsibilities

• Author DO-254 plans and standards.
• Develop compliant processes for peer review and testing.
• Perform qualification of relevant design and verification tools.
• Develop strategies for efficient verification of the product.
• Guide verification through execution and coordinate certification activities with the FAA and relevant DERs.
