Job summary

Origin Staffing partners with a large global public company to hire a Senior FP&A Systems Analyst for its Corporate FP&A team. This hybrid Finance/Technology role focuses on owning and improving the planning platform during ERP and cloud-based transformation.

The role sits between FP&A and IT, translating Finance requirements into system solutions while enhancing data quality, reporting, forecasting, and planning workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A, finance systems, or hybrid Finance/Tech.
• Strong FP&A processes knowledge (budgeting, forecasting, reporting).
• Hands-on ERP/cloud planning tool experience (Oracle, Hyperion/Essbase, Anaplan, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• FP&A systems ownership: Serve as key administrator and owner of cloud-based financial planning platform.
• ERP & planning transformation: Support migration, UAT, release testing, go-live readiness, and stabilization.
• Finance/IT partnership: Translate FP&A requirements into system configurations with IT.
• Planning & forecasting: Manage forecast workflows, assumptions, scenario architecture, allocations, and inputs for budgeting.
• Data governance: Maintain data integrity across ERP and planning systems, reconciliations, audit trails and controls.
• Automation & improvement: Identify opportunities to reduce manual Excel-based processes and improve scalability of FP&A workflows.
• User support: Train and support Finance users, manage system access and governance.

We’re partnering with a large, highly respected global public company that’s looking to add a Senior FP&A Systems Analyst to its Corporate FP&A team. This is a unique hybrid Finance/Technology role for someone who understands FP&A but also enjoys building, improving, and owning the systems behind the planning process.

The company is in the middle of a significant ERP and cloud-based planning transformation, and this person will play an important role in the migration, testing, go-live, and ongoing administration of its planning environment. The role will sit directly between FP&A and IT, translating Finance requirements into system solutions while improving data quality, reporting, forecasting, and planning workflows.

Longer term, the position will have meaningful ownership over the planning platform and help drive automation, scenario modeling, and process improvement across a sophisticated global FP&A organization.

Responsibilities

• User support: Train and support Finance users while maintaining system access, permissions, and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience within FP&A, financial systems, finance transformation, or a hybrid Finance/Technology role
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, allocations, and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with ERP and/or cloud-based planning platforms such as Oracle, Hyperion/Essbase, EPM, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar tools
• Experience with financial system implementations, migrations, UAT, or process improvement initiatives strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
