Job summary

Premier Truck Rental (PTR) in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a hands-on Sr. Manager, FP&A and Strategy to lead planning, performance management, and executive reporting.

You will translate financial and operational data into clear insights for senior leadership and align forecasts with company priorities. You will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Strategy, and IT to build robust models, drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, and improve KPI definitions and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Experience supporting executive reporting, strategic planning, KPI reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and/or long-range planning processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information.
• Ability to translate financial and operational data into practical business recommendations and strategic insights.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and executive reporting skills.
• Experience managing, mentoring, or developing finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly KPI reporting, including dashboards and executive summaries.
• Support monthly and quarterly executive reporting packages with financial results and insights.
• Partner with senior leadership for materials for executive reviews and board meetings.
• Own long-range planning: financial modelling, scenario planning, growth assumptions, margin analysis.
• Analyze performance versus budget/forecast and communicate drivers and actions.
• Develop and maintain corporate financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Coordinate with finance partners to consolidate inputs and ensure consistency.
• Support strategic initiatives with ad hoc analysis and investment modeling.
• Improve planning, reporting, forecasting, and executive communication processes.
• Partner with IT/data teams to improve KPI definitions and reporting automation.
• Develop scalable FP&A processes to support growth.
