Job summary

Couchbase, the operational data platform for AI, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst on the GTM Finance team to drive ARR modeling, reporting, and unit economics for a hybrid subscription and consumption model. You will support the CFO and board-level reporting, with a focus on auditable, data-driven insights across product lines.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of FP&A in B2B SaaS, strong Excel and Salesforce skills, and experience with ARR waterfalls, NRR, and cohort analysis.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of FP&A or finance experience in a B2B SaaS or DaaS environment.
• Direct experience building or maintaining a SaaS ARR model is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical rigor with auditable model logic and data integrity.
• Must understand ARR waterfalls, NRR, GRR and subscription/consumption revenue mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARR roll forward model across product lines, tracking movement waterfall categories and comparing to plan and forecast.
• Maintain consumption model tracking and distinguish between subscription ARR and consumption-driven ARR.
• Model NRR, GRR, cohort expansion, and renewal assumptions with auditable source data.
• Build and maintain pipeline coverage and funnel health models; support monthly reporting and board/sponsor deliverables.
