Job summary

The YMCA of Greater New York Association Offices in Manhattan seeks a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Reporting to support the Vice President - Finance/CAO. This role develops annual budgets, financial projections, pro-forma budgets, and reports, with a lead on the budgeting process and planning solutions.

Qualified candidates will have a finance/accounting background, 4+ years analytics experience, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle CONNECT,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 4+ years in analytics, finance, accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
• Experience with data interpretation to support decision-making.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and create reports using Excel or other software; provide decision support.
• Develop financial projections, modeling, and pro forma budgets independently.
• Lead budgeting process under CAO; manage timelines and guidelines.
• Implement new planning solution with Workday Adaptive Planning; assist data migration and integration.
• Collaborate with branches to ensure needs are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
