Job summary

KSB US is seeking a Regional Business Controller (FP&A) in Richmond, VA to partner with the Regional CFO and business leaders. You will lead planning, budgeting, and performance analysis across North America, turning financial data into actionable insights.

The role emphasizes profitability, cost management, and value creation, with collaboration across Operations, Sales, Service, and Product Management to drive measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum eight years of progressive FP&A, business controlling, management accounting, or related areas; international manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders, challenging assumptions, diagnosing performance issues, and turning analysis into action.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, management reporting, profitability analysis, cash flow, and manufacturing/operational finance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North America forecast, budget, and long-range planning processes with realistic, transparent outlooks.
• Challenge commercial, operational, and financial assumptions; identify risks, opportunities, and trends; translate into scenarios and actions.
• Analyze actual performance vs budget, forecast, prior year, and strategic expectations; assess drivers and cash-flow impact.
• Partner with the Regional Financial Controller on planning, reporting cycles, and performance follow-up.
• Act as a Finance partner to Regional CFO, Regional President, and MDs across North America.
• Develop regional reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
