Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Senior Financial Analyst / FP&A Business Partner in Burnsville, MN (Hybrid). You will own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for a key business unit, build financial models, and partner with leaders on strategic decisions.

The role requires strong FP&A experience, advanced Excel, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights, with exposure to pricing and go-to-market initiatives. Local candidates preferred for hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Progressive FP&A experience in corporate finance or business finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis skills.
• Experience independently managing forecasts and translating financial data into business recommendations.
• Strong understanding of P&L performance, margins, and operational drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work through imperfect data and ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence and partner with business leaders.
• Business unit finance or segment-level P&L experience valued.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred; SAP, Power BI, or Power Query experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for a key business unit.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate performance, growth opportunities, and investment decisions.
• Analyze monthly results, budget variances, margins, cost drivers, and key performance indicators.
• Prepare financial reporting and management presentations that translate results into actionable insights.
• Partner with business leaders to challenge assumptions and support strategic decisions.
• Support pricing, product launches, portfolio decisions, and other commercial initiatives.
• Collaborate across functions to identify financial risks, opportunities, and performance improvements; strengthen forecasting processes, reporting, and financial discipline in an evolving business environment.
