Job summary

CFS is seeking a Financial Analyst in Minneapolis, MN to build FP&A and accounting expertise within a growing consumer products business. The role offers visibility across finance, sales, operations, and leadership, with the opportunity to influence budgeting, forecasting, and profitability decisions.

You will own month-end close and reporting, collaborate on budgets, and partner with business leaders to enhance financial performance using SAP, EPM, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1–3 years of finance, accounting, or FP&A experience.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems, SAP, Power BI, or similar reporting tools preferred.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own key FP&A activities including month-end close, reporting, forecasting, and financial submissions.
• Support accounting operations through general ledger management, accruals, reconciliations, and financial entries.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business operations, customer accounts, and special projects.
• Develop and manage annual budgets for SG&A, marketing, and other functional areas.
• Assist with audits, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain vendor, contract, and policy documentation while supporting financial process improvements.
