Job summary

Thompson Hine LLP seeks an experienced Manager of FP&A to oversee the firm’s financial planning and analysis across multiple offices. You will partner with CFO and practice leaders to analyze profitability, drive revenue growth, and deliver data-driven guidance.

The role requires advanced Excel, Tableau, and analytics skills, with responsibilities spanning forecasting, budgeting, and executive presentations.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in Business or Accounting required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Up to 10 years of experience in accounting functions.
• Experience preparing or interpreting financial statements.
• Experience analyzing financial trends and variances.
• Experience in a professional services or client-facing capacity preferred.
• Experience with analytical/data tools and large datasets.
• Experience presenting content to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of practices and offices; present to leadership.
• Lead quarterly forecast timeline and ensure timely deliverables.
• Prepare revenue and timekeeper compensation portions of forecasts.
• Develop and manage Business Unit Planning Goals reporting.
• Assist in Mergers & Acquisitions analyses when needed.
• Lead finance analytics initiatives and self-service tools.
• Provide insights beyond finance to improve profitability.
• Create data sources and reporting for firm-wide use.
• Maintain quality reviews and confidentiality in reporting.
