Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision support for a complex professional services organization serving federal and commercial markets.

You will partner with the CFO and senior leaders to translate performance into actionable insights, build scalable processes, and drive profitable growth while leading a high-performing FP&A team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A leadership.
• Experience in professional services or government contracting preferred.
• Strong experience with enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Proven ability to lead a high-performing finance team and partner with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, monthly outlook, and long-range planning.
• Own executive, Board, and management reporting with clear analysis and actions.
• Translate operations and sales plans into integrated financial forecasts.
• Provide strategic financial modeling and scenario analysis for growth initiatives.
• Strengthen forecasting accuracy through driver-based planning and variance analysis.
• Oversee FP&A for federal government contracting and commercial operations.
• Develop reporting and insights for profitability and pricing across portfolios.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and other functions to align plans.
• Advance FP&A systems, dashboards, data governance, and automation.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing FP&A team.
