Job summary

Westwing seeks a Senior FP&A Manager to be at the centre of its financial steering, partnering with the Finance Leadership Team and Executive Management on strategic topics. The role reports to the Head of FP&A & Investor Relations and drives FP&A processes across the Group and its legal entities.

You will deliver actionable insights, support critical business decisions, and evolve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting standards in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or commercial finance within large corporate or consulting environments.
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience or interest in AI tools and automation is a plus.
• Proactive, autonomous, and capable of leading end-to-end projects with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end financial insights across the Group for performance management and decision-making.
• Support Head of FP&A & Investor Relations in day-to-day FP&A operations and cross-functional alignment.
• Monitor performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

JOIN OUR TEAM

As a Senior FP&A Manager, you will be at the centre of Westwing's financial steering, partnering closely with the Finance Leadership Team and Executive Management on high-impact strategic and operational topics. Reporting to the Head of FP&A & Investor Relations, you will drive the evolution of our FP&A processes, deliver actionable insights, and support critical business decisions across both the Westwing Group and its legal entities. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Deliver end-to-end financial insights across the Group, enabling effective performance management and informed decision-making

Support the Head of FP&A & Investor Relations in leading the day-to-day operations of the FP&A team, driving execution, cross-functional alignment, and strategic decision-making across the Group

Monitor financial and operational performance, proactively identifying deviations from plan, assessing their drivers, and recommending corrective actions

Drive the continuous optimisation of financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting, improving accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow

YOU COME WITH

5+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or commercial finance, gained within management consulting, investment banking, or a large corporate environment

Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to combine analytical rigour, attention to detail, and strategic thinking

Experience or interest in AI tools and automation is a plus

Proactive and self-driven attitude combined with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work autonomously, lead end-to-end projects, navigate ambiguity, and drive continuous improvement and best practices in fast-paced environments

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation

Fluency in English; German is a plus
