Job summary

FirstService Residential, the North American leader in residential property management, seeks a Financial Manager of Client Accounting to guide budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives across communities. You’ll translate complex data into clear insights, lead models, and present results to clients and leadership.

This hybrid role can be based near King of Prussia, PA or Eatontown, NJ, offering partnership with senior leaders, meaningful performance impact, and a collaborative culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; MBA is highly preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience as Manager or Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Strong leadership skills; experience in multi-unit retail / property management preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Great Plains/VENA experience desirable.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative mindset, highly driven and self-motivated.
• Hands-on management capability with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Annual budgeting, quarterly forecast, and board presentations.
• Analytical, business insight support.
• Benchmarking, KPI reporting, and new business analytics and support.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, operating plans, and modeling tools for the East and NYC regions.
• Quarterly and monthly financial reports with insights into key drivers.
• Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and ROI in marketing programs, contract pricing/ renewals, new business acquisitions, and projects.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, pricing, span of control, market restructuring.
• Analyze complex financial information to provide timely recommendations to management.
• Support senior management and department heads with in-depth analysis.
• Monitor performance indicators, trends, and causes of variance.
