Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Inc. is hiring a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis in Jacksonville, FL, to lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance reporting. You will partner with Accounting, Marketing and Operations to deliver timely insights and drive strategic decisions.

You will develop models, manage the annual plan, and mentor FP&A analysts while advancing efficiency and analytical rigor across the team.

Qualifications

6–8 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, accounting or related field.
Experience in transportation/railroad industry is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation and prioritization skills.
Ability to lead, coach, and influence across functions.
Advanced Excel/PowerPoint and financial modeling.
Experience with ERP and forecasting tools (Dynamics GP, Adaptive Insights).

Responsibilities

Lead monthly financial reporting with timely close and variance explanations.
Analyze income statement drivers of revenue, expenses and EBITDA vs budget and prior year.
Develop monthly/quarterly/annual performance packages for leadership.
Lead quarterly outlook and annual budget processes with business partners.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and investments.
Build financial models and scenarios for long-term planning.
Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in planning, forecasting and reporting.
Mentor FP&A analysts and manage special projects.
