Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in California is seeking a Senior Finance Manager in Corporate FP&A to lead planning for Entertainment & Sports, delivering quarterly forecasts, annual plans, and long-range projections used by executives and the Board.

You will develop executive-ready materials that highlight performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic tradeoffs, and work with finance teams to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracy while supporting strategic analyses and capital

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FP&A, strategy, consulting, or related finance roles.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for executive presentations; Cognos/Oracle EPM experience preferred.
• Robust modeling background: P&L, cash flow, valuation, scenario planning.
• Proactive, strategic problem-solver who simplifies complexity and proposes solutions.
• Excellent project management with a track record of leading multi-stakeholder workstreams.
• Experience preparing materials for senior leadership or Board audiences.
• Able to collaborate with senior stakeholders across finance and the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning deliverables for Entertainment & Sports, including forecasts and long-range plans for exec leadership and the Board.
• Develop executive-ready materials communicating performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic tradeoffs.
• Monitor performance, analyze drivers and trends across revenue, costs, profitability, and KPIs.
• Partner with finance teams to validate assumptions and align near-term with long-term objectives.
• Support enterprise analyses, including valuation, scenario modeling, and investment decisions.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Investor Relations, Treasury, and other teams on long-term planning and messaging.
