Sr. FP&A Manager
Location: Hybrid NYC
Compensation: $155,000 base plus bonus
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Sr. FP&A Manager to partner directly with global operations and procurement leaders across a multi-brand consumer products business.
Reporting into the executive FP&A organization, this role serves as the primary financial advisor to the global supply chain function. You will own end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis while partnering with operational heads across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and manufacturing to unlock cost efficiencies and drive value creation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Financial Leadership: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning across the global supply chain organization, monitoring worldwide spend.
- Variance Analysis & Cost Governance: Analyze core drivers of month-end variances against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance; enforce accountability around margin optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations leaders to model and track strategic value-creation programs.
- KPI Architecture & Reporting: Design, implement, and track operational KPIs to enhance supply chain performance visibility, identify emerging trends, and modernize financial reporting tools.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative, results-driven, and high-accountability environment.
- Executive Decision Support: Build ad-hoc financial models, business cases, and executive presentations to translate complex operational metrics into actionable strategic guidance for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience with dedicated depth in Supply Chain FP&A, Operations Finance, or Supply Chain Business Partnering within a multinational CPG, Beauty, Retail, or Consumer Goods enterprise.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP software (NetSuite preferred; experience with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting/NSPB and SmartView is a plus).
- Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation capabilities, with a proven ability to combine data-driven analysis with compelling financial storytelling.
- Comfortable digging into granular reporting while maintaining big-picture strategic perspective; demonstrated success providing constructive challenge and pushback to operational stakeholders.
