Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills: modeling, scenario analysis, large data sets.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for BI/reporting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Ability to synthesize large data into actionable insights.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

A growing operations-driven organization is seeking a highly analytical and technology-minded Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role will play a key part in financial planning, forecasting, business analysis, and decision support while helping modernize reporting capabilities through advanced analytics and emerging technologies.

The ideal candidate will combine strong traditional FP&A expertise with a forward-thinking approach to data visualization, automation, and AI-enabled financial analysis.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning analyses.

• Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that improve visibility across the organization.


• Utilize Power BI and other business intelligence platforms to enhance reporting capabilities and support data-driven decision making.


• Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve efficiencies through technology and AI-driven solutions.


• Support monthly financial reviews, variance analyses, and executive reporting packages.


• Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.


• Assist with strategic initiatives, profitability analyses, and special projects.


• Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements that enhance financial visibility and organizational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.


• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related discipline.


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and large data set management.


• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.


• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.


• Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
