Job summary

Picarro, Inc. is seeking a Senior FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.

The role partners with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Product, Manufacturing, and Corporate teams to drive performance and executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a strong financial modeler with advanced Excel skills, solid business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex modeling and large data sets.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for initiatives and investments.
• Prepare monthly reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Analyze expenses, revenue, headcount, capex, and key drivers to identify trends.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and communicate results to leadership.
• Collaborate with department leaders to develop accurate forecasts.
• Build scenario analyses and sensitivity models for decision-making.
• Improve and automate reporting and planning with advanced Excel modeling.
• Partner with Accounting during month-end close for accurate reporting.
• Develop KPIs and management reporting for data-driven decisions.
• Identify process improvements to enhance visibility and forecasting accuracy.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives.
