Job summary

Picarro, located in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Senior FP&A professional to lead planning, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis in our Finance team. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Product, Manufacturing, and Corporate functions to deliver insights that drive growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; CPA/MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance experience.
• Advanced Excel with complex modeling, scenario analysis, pivot tables, Power Query, and large datasets.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for finance/non-finance stakeholders.
• ERP systems experience (NetSuite/Oracle/SAP) and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Analyze expenses, revenue, headcount, capex, and key drivers to identify trends.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and communicate results to Finance leadership.
• Collaborate with department leaders to develop accurate forecasts.
• Build scenario analyses and sensitivity models for decision-making.
• Improve and automate reporting and planning via advanced Excel and tools.
• Coordinate with Accounting during month-end close for accurate reporting.
• Develop KPIs and management reporting for data-driven decisions.
• Identify process improvements to boost visibility and forecasting accuracy.
• Support ad hoc analyses, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
