Job summary

Adtran is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, workforce planning, and operating expense management across corporate functions. You will partner with Finance leadership to improve forecast accuracy and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

The role focuses on annual planning, monthly forecasting, workforce planning, and executive reporting, with emphasis on building scalable processes and leveraging SAC and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, financial reporting, or related finance roles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to business leaders and non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecasting and variance analysis for assigned functional areas.
• Support annual operating plan (AOP) development and recurring forecast cycles.
• Maintain headcount, hiring, and labor cost forecasts for workforce planning.
• Produce recurring management reporting packages and executive-ready presentations.
• Improve planning processes, data quality, and reporting automation.
