BetterUp is seeking an FP&A Manager to drive financial visibility and strategic planning across the business. You will partner with VP/C-level leaders on forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation, building scalable FP&A processes and dashboards to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A experience in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
• Direct partnership with VP/C-level executives on strategic planning and decision-making.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with FP&A systems (Abacum, Anaplan, Adaptive) and BI tools like Looker.
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (LTV/CAC, Rule of 40, unit economics).
• Experience guiding business model transitions (single product to platform).
• IPO readiness or pre-IPO experience including investor-grade processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecast reviews, translating performance into actionable insights and priority recommendations.
• Own end-to-end financial planning, including forecasting, budgeting, multi-year planning, and variance analysis.
• Drive disciplined expense planning to ensure investments align with strategy and deliver ROI.
• Build advanced financial models with scenario, sensitivity, and probabilistic analysis.
• Partner cross-functionally to align on metrics, definitions, reporting, and KPI frameworks.
• Design executive dashboards and translate complex data into clear narratives for stakeholders.
• Build scalable FP&A processes and leverage automation and AI for self-service analytics.
