Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst in Richardson, TX to support FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. You will build models, analyze profitability, and partner with leaders to drive performance.

The role emphasizes strategic insight, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in FP&A or related fields, strong Excel/BI skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
• Experience supporting professional services is preferred.
• CPA designation is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate financial insights through analysis, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities.
• Perform month-end, quarterly, and annual analysis with variance reporting.
• Develop financial models for scenarios and long-term forecasts.
• Analyze costs and profitability drivers to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support revenue recognition processes and assess key assumptions.
• Prepare and present financial reports and KPIs to senior leadership.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, SQL.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate reporting.
• Evaluate financial impact of projects and investments.
• Partner with project managers and business leaders to understand drivers.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes.
• Support stock analysis, annual surveys, and special FP&A projects.
