Job summary

Life Care Services-US in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst, Financial Planning to own forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for designated functions. You will mentor analysts and partner with business leaders to translate strategy into actionable plans.

You will develop financial models, KPI dashboards, and executive-level reports, driving insights and continuous process improvements across planning cycles. This onsite role emphasizes collaboration and leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or related field.
• 4-6 years of FP&A or business finance experience.
• Advanced modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate with leadership.
• Experience with planning systems and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned functions or regions.
• Lead variance analysis and communicate insights into key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Design, build, and maintain complex financial models and forecasting tools.
• Develop scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Partner directly with business leaders to align financial plans with operational strategies.
• Drive development of KPIs, benchmarks, and performance dashboards.
• Lead preparation of executive-level presentations and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements across planning cycles and systems.
• Mentor and provide guidance to analysts and senior analysts.
