Job summary

Local Crafts is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to lead FP&A for our private equity-backed, multi-brand portfolio. Reporting to the CFO, you'll own budgeting, long-range planning, and board-ready reporting, shaping the company’s financial future across Connecting Threads, Superior Threads, Knit Picks, Crochet.com, and Berroco.

You will partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic and capital decisions, build robust financial models for investments and M&A, and establish KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 7+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategy with senior leadership experience.
• Experience presenting to boards or executives.
• Experience partnering directly with C‑suite executives.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication to translate financial data for non-financial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across all brands.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic and capital allocation decisions.
• Lead board and PE sponsor reporting, including financial packages and KPI dashboards.
• Build financial models supporting brand-level investments, M&A, and scenario planning.
• Drive corporate strategy initiatives, market analysis, and growth opportunity assessment.
• Establish KPI frameworks and reporting cadences across a multi-brand portfolio.
• Partner with brand leaders on P&L management and cost optimization.
• Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A function as the team grows.
